Hummingbirds are the smallest migrating birds, traveling solo for hundreds of miles. They are unique in the bird world in their ability to hover and fly backwards. They are also some of the most beautiful birds, with jewel-like colors that seem to glisten in the sun. Hummingbirds are definitely my favorite birds to watch on a warm summer day.
These dainty hummingbird earrings dangle gently from silver-tone wires. This pattern features colorful stripes and swirls; the backs are also patterned. Cut from patterned wood, the earrings are lightweight, with a pair weighing less than a nickel.
Each pair is laser cut and assembled in my studio in Virginia.
